Krugovikhin Konstantin

(born in 1815)

A famous Russian marine painter. Graduated from St. Petersburg Academy of Art where studied in 1833-1840. In 1843 was ordered several paintings with views of naval bases by the Government. Fulfilled his work marvelously. At present numerous canvases of the painter are the highlights of many leading museums of Russia.
