(1867-1903)

A famous Russian marine painter. Learned painting in St. Petersburg Academy of Art in 1885-1894. The worthy developer of the artist A. P. Bogolyubov traditions whose works he copied while studying in the Academy. Honestly depicted the history of the Navy the life of which he knew very well having made three round-the-world cruises.
